Charles Fox Guitars is pleased to announce that Nashville recording artist Philip Claypool has joined the growing list of CFox Guitar endorsers.

Philip is immersing himself in a CFox Cedar Reserve, a 00 size guitar with cedar soundboard and rosewood back and sides. "Ive dreamed of owning a guitar like my Cedar Reserve for years", says Claypool. "Though its small enough to cradle in an arm chair, it has the depth and clarity of sound to fill the room. The feel of the guitar is unbelievably solid with great sustain and the neck is fast and true. Im a lucky guy".

Philip's passion for country music stems from his love of gospel, bluegrass, blues and folk music, likewise he was particularly drawn to strong vocalists like Al Green and Waylon Jennings. Heres what USA Today had to say about Phil: "At last, a new singer with a distinctive style. The Memphis-bred singer/songwriter Philip Claypool is the most affecting country stylist to come along in years. His album A Circus Leaving Town chills the listener with emotional leaps, and Claypool elevates the simple metaphors of the title song to the language of tragedy".

Philip will be following up A Circus Leaving Town with his new Curb Records release Perfect World due out in June of this year. Claypool is very anxious to hit the road with some of Nashvilles heavy hitters to support the new release.
