Hello, I'm Charles Fox. Welcome to my web site. You may be already familiar with my work - for over 35 years, I have been building guitars and playing an active role in the world of modern American lutherie as a designer, educator and consultant (see Biography).

As an artisan, I create a limited number of high-performance guitars each year for musicians and collectors around the world. I strive to build every instrument to standards of excellence that define state-of-the-art guitar making. Most of my orders are for modern, more innovative instruments, but I enjoy building both traditional and custom guitars too, and I try always to make time for them in my work schedule.

My concert classical and finger-style steel string guitars are described on the following pages. Consider the possibilities, and if a combination of features suits your needs I’ll be happy to discuss the possibility of crafting such an instrument for you. Contact me via email or phone for information on reserving an instrument, or with any other questions or comments.

I sincerely hope that you find the guitar you are looking for, wherever it may be.
